Project Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

Successful programs and projects are a pre-planned sequential series of activities and events. However, things rarely work out exactly as planned. Managers must therefore periodically monitor selected indicators and measure performance during implementation so they can make timely adjustments where necessary, as well as subsequently determine the extent to which the Course or project achieved its objectives.

Ensuring that Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) is proactively and procedurally enacted in the planning and delivery of an organization’s strategic and operational activities will increase the effectiveness of those activities and their anticipated or required outcome.

Monitoring and Evaluation will enable staff to collect verifiable indicators not only for internal use but importantly for external partners and stakeholders, such as key funding bodies.

 

Ideal for mid level/senior managers who are involved in making and implementing strategic decisions, overseeing quality systems and are seeking to establish standard organizational process.
